Common Ground Alliance
811 Pre-Launch Omnibus Poll
The Common Ground Alliance conducted a national omnibus survey of 1,046 Americans during the period from April 26 - April 29, 2007. The goal of this survey was to supplement the existing national survey conducted by CGA in summer 2006 with newer data on the awareness of calling before digging services among Americans age 18 or older. Key findings of this survey include:
- Among the 76% of survey respondents with a yard, 21% plan to conduct a digging project this spring or summer.
- Of the 21% of those with a yard who plan to conduct a digging project this spring or summer, only 52% are likely to call to have utility lines marked before digging.
Please contact the Common Ground Alliance for more information on the survey results or to request an interview with a CGA spokesperson.
